More and more, my customers are saying that clicking on an email doesn't open anything!
Indeed, people are now used to using Gmail or webmail, and no longer install an email client.

My solution - heavy - was to replace the mailto by opening a form.

I found your plugin yesterday, while reading this article the day before: https://adamsilver.io/articles/the-trouble-with-mailto-email-links-and-what-to-do-instead / !!!

To improve this tool:

  • Options to display only certain lines of the popup ...
  • Optionally add options to answer the ideas in the above article
  • Allow to style the popup with CSS

I am thinking of using this on all of my sites, thanks again!

Hi, thank you for your precious suggestions!

At the moment the mailgo extension for WordPress is a simple plugin that adds mailgo (https://mailgo.dev) to all the pages in the WP. I am thinking about a Settings page for the plugin, I think that I will use your suggestions, thank you again!

Any type of other suggestions are really appreciated, you can also open more issues if you want. Please, if the suggestions can be applied to the main library mailgo you can directly refer to this repo.
