- Create the directory
callbacksin your ansible root directory. - Edit the ansible.cfg to contain this:
[defaults]
callback_plugins= ./callbacks
callback_whitelist = aot
- Run Jaeger. Docker is recommended:
docker run -d --name jaeger \
-p 5775:5775/udp \
-p 16686:16686 \
jaegertracing/all-in-one:1.13
- Install opentracing and jaeger-client for python:
pip install opentracing jaeger-client
- Download the file
aot.pyinto thecallbacksdirectory:
curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/magmax/ansible-opentracing/master/aot.py \
-o callbacks/aot.py
- Run ansible as usual
- See the results at http://localhost:16686/search?service=Ansible
