Compatibility

This wiki page is used to note compatibility (or compatibility issues) with other mIRC scripts.

If you are find any compatibility issues not listed here please raise GitReport or Github issue for them so we can investigate to see if they can be fixed before listing them here.

sbClient

It is our intent to merge the functionality of sbClient into dlFilter. In the mean time, the following compatibility issues exist:

• If you use the edit box to request a new search, dlFilter is not aware of the search trigger being issued, and you need to set dlFilter options as follows to make it work:
  • Uncheck “Block ALL files you have NOT specifically requested”
  • Either add the search user(s) to your trust list or uncheck "Block files from users not in your mIRC DCC trust list"
  • If the search user(s) are regular users (i.e. not ops or voiced) uncheck "Block files from regular users"
