Hello, I tested an installation on my server and built a docker image with additional applications. Since the idea is for remote work, it would be good to consider the possibility of printing to a local printer. When working in a network, the problem can be easily solved with cups print server, but for remote work it would be good to be able to redirect locally installed printers. Of course, a partial solution is printing to a pdf file and subsequent local printing, but this is hardly the most convenient solution.

I will give it a try sometime, you just need to get the PDF bytes to the browser and have a custom printer driver in the image for a FIFO to dump the print bytes to and convert to PDF.
No timeline though this is not a top priority.

I am using a custom image where I install cups with the configuration for my printers. It is working and you can print directly from the remote desktop. But this solution is a little bit hackie with starting the cups in custom-cont-init.d not a general solution but it is working for years now 👍

They mean printing from the remote session to the browser, Kasm has the ability to do this through a micro service.
