outlook-links-for-macOS

Scripts and custom protocol handler for copying/opening links to Outlook messages.

Installation

1. Download and copy CopyLinkFromOutlook.scpt to ~/Library/Scripts folder in your macOS running computer.

2. Download and install OutlookUriHandler app. You might need to run it once.

3. Enable a script runner (either Systemwide Script menu, or a Script Launcher like Fast Scripts)

Usage

Select a message in Outlook and run the CopyLinkFromOutlook script (using Systemwide Script menu, or Fast Scripts, etc.). This copies a link to the selected message to the system clipboard. You can paste this link to anywhere you like, such as a task description in Todoist.

Then clicking on the link automatically opens the message on Outlook.
