"Sort notes by: Custom order" not respected when editing

Environment

Joplin version: Joplin 1.0.220 (prod, darwin)
Platform: macOS
OS specifics: Catalina 10.15.5

Steps to reproduce

1. Use "Sort notes by: Custom order".
2. Manual sort notes,

3. Edit a node, and the sorting changes. Same thing happens when creating a new note, adding the new note at the top.

4. Drag the note at the bottom to the top, and the custom order is restored.

Describe what you expected to happen

Custom is custom. The order of the notes should not be changed.
New notes created should be created at the bottom. Otherwise the first note is not longer the first.
