Environment

Joplin version: Standalone (single binary) 1.0.214
Platform: Win 10 64bit Pro

Steps to reproduce

Insert Template Feature behaved as expected in the previous version, after updating to 1.0.214 the following is occurring.

If I create a new note, then click File - Templates - Insert Template and choose temp1.md OR the blank temp2.md (both attached here) then Joplin inserts a timestamp instead of the template:

No matter what template I insert, that's the result.

However, if I click File - Templates - Create Note From Template, then a new note is created with the correct template:

As stated above, prior to this version, this feature worked as expected. I was unable to revert to 1.0.201, I received an error about trying to use an older version and their being a database issue. Let me know if this is relevant and I can provide a screenshot.

Describe what you expected to happen

File - Templates - Insert Template should not insert a timestamp, but instead should insert a template as the previous version did.

Logfile

Not included for now since should be basic to reproduce. Let me know if needed.
