Alternatives to the laravel-nova NPM package for custom components?

The source repo for the package is archived and uses ancient versions of Axios for instance. I am continuously bothered with security warnings regarding it.

Since it is still mentioned in v5 docs for Nova I assume it still depends on it? Does anyone have alternatives or ways around having to use it?

Nova stop relying on that dependency since Nova 4.

In Nova 5, you should use https://github.com/laravel/nova-devtool

Thanks! Looks like maybe the docs should be updated to reflect that though? There are multiple imports on https://nova.laravel.com/docs/v5/customization/fields that refers to the old laravel-nova package 👼
