Trends with MongoDB: Trend metric helpers are not supported for this database. - Proposed Workaround

I needed to use Trends with Nova 4 and MongoDB, but as this is not supported, ended up writing a custom call in the public function calculate(NovaRequest $request) function to get the trend data. Thought I'd share it here for anyone lese that might run into this problem and also for any ideas on how to possibly do this better.
