Currently the text size is adapted to the space there is so that the texts do not overlap.
The problem is that to remain compatible with SketchUp 2017, this system must estimate the size in pixels of a text without being able to have the exact result in relation to the font used. As a result, the longer the text, the more the size will be overestimated.
If you display the part numbers instead of their designation, you will see this problem less.

I think some cutting pieces have more space there to show the part number. Better is there is a option to change the text size like label layout size.

Text size needs to depend on parts size. Else reading text en small parts is impossible.
The problem there is to be able to correctly calculate text clutter.

Here is an example if dimension text size is the same on all parts : unreadable.
