Performance Issues with Recent Update?

Wanted to try out GitHub Discussions, so why not open one here?

Unsure if anyone else has been having performance issues with one of the recent updates, but I thought I heard from at least one of my friends who's been/was using my extension and had to stop using it since a specific update. It could be 1.8.1, and since I switched off Project V3 to see the issue for myself, it sometimes happens, but about 90% of the time I watch anything on YT I don't notice any slow down.

I'll need to do further testing when I have this happen again, but I'd like to know if anyone has been dealing with any performance issues since any of the recent updates. Thanks!

Nevermind, figured out the issue & pushing it out to the extension stores.
