Animation Mode
Up to date as of version 1.5.1
This mode enables you to design your own animations with your LEDs, which can look really cool, in a setup like this:
The main setting of this mode is the LEDs pr line, which is the amount of LEDs to have in one line of the animation. There after there is the From and To Series ID inputs, which tells where to display the animation between. The interval is the time to wait, in ms, between each frame in the animation. Then when you press the Add a Line button, a box will appear up in the Animation Window. You can now select what color you want with the three RGB sliders, and then you can simply press the boxes to color them. You can also color the entire line with the selected color by marking the checkbox called Color entire line. High Compression mode is taking the compression method from the Ambilight section, that means that in compression mode, you have 512 colors (9 bit) to do with while without compression mode you have 16.581.375 colors to do with. However, without compression mode, to color just a single LED, it can take up to 11 characters to send, while in compression mode, it can get all the way down to just one character, that's a 11:1 compression ratio, which will improve the APS a lot. That being said, APS is animations pr second, which is how long time it takes to run through the entire animation set. Down in the bottom you can then start, stop, save, load or loop animations. When you start the animation (if the interval is higher than 20 ms for performance) the Live view panel will then show a live view of what the LEDs are showing.
