That's curious. I don't have a linux environment to test on at the moment though.

I'm open to any suggestions. :)

Your project has .tool-versions with Node 9 but you are using a version of sass-brunch which uses node-sass v4.5.3, which does not support Node 9

Upgrading sass-brunch to the latest released version on NPM fixed the issue for me, but I'm not sure why that Git version is pinned. It seems like a recent change...
