Tandy 1000 version?

Hey, I have a 1000EX and there don't seem to be any RAM test programs out there that actually work on this system...this one doesn't appear to work with it either... I don't know how challenging it would be to create a version of this for Tandy systems, but it would be nice to have SOMETHING to test my memory with.

Apparently Memtest86+ v4.0(2009) works. The latest is v8, so lots of newer versions won't work. CheckIt 3.0 which is on Winworld and also CheckIt Pro v1.11 would probably work.
Rumor has it that someone on Vogons built an hardware arduino-based memory tester, I don't know if you have the expertise or willingness to resort to that As for xtramtest, me just eyeballing some of the 1000EX's memory use, it seems to take up a LOT of what little RAM is available at boot. I suspect, maybe possibly, xtramtest would need to be altered substantially, it's not going to be a simple hack of a couple lines of code. If none of the apps I mentioned work, you may have some serious memory problems and will need to resort to a hardware fix.

Interestingly, I don't actually HAVE a hardware problem... I had a software configuration problem, but then I went down a rabbithole because I tried several RAM test programs that all said things were failing. I don't think I tried CheckIt Pro, but I did try a couple of different versions of CheckIt. It's a very murky landscape, and I will say that regardless, having something that could load into a rom would be nice.

cool. yes. I'm completely out of my depth on xtramtest code, and maybe code can be taken from Memtest 4, idk. Tandy clones are cool and it's good to preserve them and maybe working on the issue will bring other benefits for many other PCs. I just don't want to raise anyone's expectations unrealistically.
