* some customers experience silence after DHCP requests, which presumably
  results from non-RFC-conforming DHCP server implementations which do not
  like the DUID being sent instead of MAC as part of the optional DHCP request
  packet payload. so, we revert back to the old default of sending the MAC
  (default has changed in between yocto-2 and yocto-5)
* we had a patch for changing the timeout setting in dhcpcd.conf, drop that
  since we have it in our own config now
