If you want to contribute a new gif with a better image that would be awesome! We actually lost the source code to our cat/dog one anyway.

The only caveat is that you must have copyright/license to the image (use something open licensed or your on own photo).

Why not use the above image/gif ? It doesn't seem to have any restrictions viz.

"No known copyright restrictions, released into the public domain."
