# CENTOS 7 docker container to WSL2

From root of repo execute:
```shell
docker build -t centos7wsl -f ./containers/centos7/Dockerfile .
```

Export the container content as tarball:
```shell
docker export -o ./staging/centos7wsl.tar $(docker run -d centos7wsl /bin/true)
```

Import the tarball as new WSL (replace `<path>` with a meaningful path):
```powershell
wsl --import centos7wsl <path>\centos7wsl .\staging\centos7wsl.tar --version 2

Launch the new distro:
```powershell
wsl -d centos7wsl
```
