Open a markdown file with JupyterLab's Markdown Preview

I used the nbgitpuller link generator and filled README.md in the "File to open" field and JupyterLab in the "Application to Open" field. Indeed, JupyterLab opens the correct file, but with a text editor. I would like to have an option to open the file with a Markdown Preview instead (it is available by right-clicking a file in JupyterLab and selecting Open with > Markdown Preview).
