Forgets login attempts instead of pending for authorization

This may be a very niche case but here's an issue I found
When starting a login request to have some specific files accessible locally for small text based edits if needed, will need admin authorisation after performing a login

The files cant be shared and accessed using the tool using a personal account(tried that)

But upon rebooting the next morning to check if I was authorised by the Admin, which I wasn't yet

I found that onedriver had forgotten about the link attempt, and i might have to redo the request again, could there be a patch so that the app just displays "pending authorisation" with a button that would check if it was authorised to be used?

++ my organisation requires that I periodically re-authenticate any active session. This involves deleting that onedrive entry and re-creating it. Prompt for authentication on startup would be great.

especially if that can be done on the command line: that way cli users can authenticate on first login.

PAM support would be great, too, please!
