Garbled interface (���)

I got following message:

It worked correctly before but now i can't start it

I have a similar issue: I can still open slack-term but I see a lot of symbols just as @dellamorte-dellamore does. Maybe a new version of go is the source of the issue. I am using go 1.10.

+1, same issue with Arch + i3.

I updated to latest version and issue still persists. I regenerated configuration file and i am able to open program now, but it is still messed up. @tobske i don't have go package installed at all.

I get the same issue on Arch Linux by installing slack-term with go get -u github.com/erroneousboat/slack-term.
I have installed the go package from official Arch repos:

Possible solutions/workarounds:

• Run under Tmux ?? gizak/termui#20
• Screen bug on xterm-256color #87 (see comment of @tonylambiris)
• Does not work with st terminal #94 (see comment of @Xide)

Possible cause:

• Weird characters with ncurses 6.1 nsf/termbox-go#185

I can run it from tmux without a problem, but not directly in Konsole.

Edit: Downgrading ncurses to 6.0+20170902-3 fixed the problem.
