I installed slack-term and enjoy the minimalism of it. That being said I can't seem to figure how to follow links in chat. Is this possible? I didn't see it as one of the possible key commands or instructions how to follow chat links in the wiki

Hey, in #90 I mentioned how I personally do this. That being said when urls are wrapped it is harder to get them.

In reference to the above comment in #90, this does not help when links wrap lines, unless I am missing something.

UPDATE: I found 'mod-u' in kitty terminal and it properly parses multiline urls in slack-term and others and opens with xdg-open

Probably slack-term itself could accommodate this in a nice way using mouse reporting sequences.

Like @erroneousboat commented in #90, most terminal emulators are capable of opening URLs in $BROWSER. However, this would fail if long links are wrapped, because of conversation/thread sidebar and borders around the chat pane.
Taking all this into consideration, I saw pretty decent solution in neomutt, which also has sidebar. Sidebar can be hidden with hotkey, thus removing extra caracters from parts of long URL, and allowing it to be opened correctly.

If better solution could not be found, I am willing to try and implement similar solution (at least in my fork).

At the moment I don't have a solution for this in slack-term itself. Since links are drawn on screen together with border it will happen that links will be cut of by the border. If you know methods used by other applications on how to solve it I like to hear it.
