CANServer Hardware v1

The first version of the CANServer board was designed to suport a number of different CAN harnesses and connections, as well as other expansion. There are two configuration resistor pads; RIO15 is used to configure as "CANServer2" SSID at startup so that two CANServers can be installed on two different CAN busses simultaneously. There is space to add your own pushbutton inputs, LED outputs, and I2C connector.

The microSD slot is the older hinge type. It may be easier to remove the ESP32 board. The top metal must be slid inward to unlock, then hinge upward. Place the microSD card in the slot, making sure it is properly aligned. Close the hinge, then slide it back outward to lock.

Note a leg is purposely bent on the ESP32 board so it does not go into the socket. I found out the hard way that adding a 5v input there for the alternate board power is bad with 3.3V GPIO. Make sure the ESP32 board is in the rightmost 19 pin sockets (the 20-pin sockets are common stock)
