Development

Prerequisites

Build the OCI Plugin

go get github.com/rancher-plugins/rancher-machine-driver-oci
cd $GOPATH/src/github.com/rancher-plugins/rancher-machine-driver-oci
make install

Install rancher-machine CLI binary locally

go get github.com/rancher/machine
cd $GOPATH/src/github.com/rancher/machine
make build
sudo cp dist/docker-machine-driver-oci-darwin /usr/local/bin/docker-machine-driver-oci

Provision a node using OCI plugin for rancher-machine CLI

$ rancher-machine create -d oci --engine-install-url https://releases.rancher.com/install-docker/18.09.sh --oci-region us-phoenix-1 --oci-subnet-id ocid1.subnet.oc1.phx.aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa --oci-tenancy-id ocid1.tenancy.oc1..aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa --oci-vcn-id ocid1.vcn.oc1.phx.aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa --oci-fingerprint xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx --oci-node-availability-domain jGnV:PHX-1-AD2 --oci-node-image Oracle-Linux-7.6 --oci-user-id ocid1.user.oc1..aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa --oci-vcn-compartment-id ocid1.compartment.oc1..aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa --oci-node-compartment-id ocid1.compartment.oc1..aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa --oci-node-docker-port 2376 --oci-private-key-path /path/to/api.key.priv.pem  --oci-node-shape VM.Standard2.1 --oci-node-public-key-path /path/to/.ssh/id_rsa.pub node
