Export Fields - Deploy Metadata

It would be nice to see a way from the Deploy Metadata screen to be able to update the existing fields that are on an object with the option to create new fields as well.

I am trying to bulk update all of the fields to have a description and help text

From Deploy Metadata drop down have a "Manage Object andFields". From this screen have the ability to Create Object and Fields or Update Existing Objects and Fields.

Another suggestion is the Export Fields button to export existing fields which we can use to import back into the Create Field section to achieve the same thing.

Initial thoughts without thinking too deeply about the problem:

• New feature called "Object & Field Manager"
• Shows all fields with some basic metadata on the page
• Allows inline editing of a few data points (namely label, description, help text)
• Allow export / import so that edits could be made in excel since that could be easier
• Bells and whistles:
  • somehow show permissions for fields
  • somehow show what page layouts the fields are included on
  • Ability to create new fields / objects

Yeah I could see that, but for this

Would it not make sense just to use the same UI screen?
