New crash happening. My fault or a bug?

Every now and then I return to my lazygit terminal session and I'm treated with a crashed lazygit. Is this known? Should I create an issue?

The error message in the panic log means that your repository is corrupt. It would be nice if lazygit would tell you this in a more friendly way without crashing (see #4547 for some thoughts on that).

In the meantime you might try git fsck to verify your repository. I don't think git fsck has the capability to repair things, so honestly I don't know what to do if it does report corruption. Your best bet is probably to throw away your working copy and re-clone.

I fixed my repo. I agree it would be nice if lazygit gave a nice message instead of crashing.
