I am performing pixel cluster analysis on brain MRI's of different patients.
I want to perform histogram normalization to ensure the weightings and intensity analysis is equal for all patients.
For now I am mostly working with T2 weighted images, but later I will do the same with T1 images.
What type of normalization would be optimal? I used z-score for now, but I am not sure if this would be the best option.

Kind regards,
