AutoTyper-with-python

About

AutoTyper-with-python is a simple program written in Python that automates the typing and entering of a specified text. It is designed to save time and effort when repeatedly typing the same text or filling out forms.

Installation

To use the AutoTyper program, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository or download the source code as a ZIP file.
  2. Make sure you have Python installed on your system. If not, you can download it from the official Python website: python.org.
  3. Open a terminal or command prompt and navigate to the project directory.
  4. Install the required dependencies by running the following command:
pip install -r requirements.txt
  1. Once the dependencies are installed, you can run the program using the following command:
python app.py

Alternatively, you can download the pre-built executable file from the Releases section. The executable file can be run directly without installing Python or any dependencies.

Usage

  1. Launch the AutoTyper program.
  2. Enter the desired text that you want to auto-type.
  3. Specify the typing speed (words per minute) or use the default value.
  4. Set the keyboard shortcut to start and stop the auto-typing process. By default, the shortcuts are set to Esc(Holding) to start typing and Ctrl+C to stop typing.
  5. Press the specified start shortcut keys to begin the auto-typing process. The program will automatically type the specified text.
  6. To stop auto-typing, press the stop shortcut keys. The program will cease typing.
