Enhancement: Keep the cursor visible between words

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

The cursor (black rectangle) becomes invisible when it's between words (on a space).
The typed letters are black or red (if they were typed incorrectly), and the upcoming letters are gray.
When the cursor disappears, then it looks like we are supposed to type the next gray letter.
But instead, it shows the typed letter under the space.

Keep the cursor visible between words, to indicate that we are supposed to type the space.
