How does this wrapper work

Hi, my name is ronny and I was just wondering how this library worked.
I'm seeing a lot of issues regarding versions mismatching and this might be a shallow thought but how come we don't pull the latest version. Are the RPC procedures really that incompatible that we cannot write a overarching call for a middle point for all RPCs so that other language client wrappers could communicate with kubo as well?
