Using the Capacitor Badge plugin is working fine from the application code. But it would be more useful to update the badge from the background runner. Is there any way to modify the badge?

Import / Require the module failed and resulted several Xcode errors.

+1 this feature, it would be great if we can "Fetch" count from the server and update Badge icon accordingly in the background.

@theproducer - Thanks for taking the issue. Is there any chance for a solution soon? In my understanding, the badge plugin works quite well and the background runner also. So it must be made available and usable "only". Is that linked with some technical issues?

@theproducer - Is there any update or workaround to update the badge with the background task runner today?
