How to migrate from Firebase Dynamic Links for email authentication in an Expo React Native app?

I'm currently using Firebase Authentication's sendSignInLinkToEmail method in my Expo React Native application like this:

getAuth()
  .sendSignInLinkToEmail(email, {
    handleCodeInApp: true,
    url: '...',
    android: {
      packageName: '...',
      installApp: true,
    },
    iOS: {
      bundleId: '...',
    },
  })

I've learned that Firebase Dynamic Links, which powers the email sign-in link functionality, will be discontinued. What's the recommended approach to migrate away from this method in an Expo React Native app?

Specifically:

• Is there a new preferred method to handle email link authentication in Firebase?
• Are there any Expo-specific considerations or packages I should be aware of?
• Has the Expo team or Firebase team published any migration guides for this specific scenario?

My project uses:

• Expo SDK 52
• React Native Firebase v21.12.0
• React Native 0.76.7

I think the React Native Firebase SDK needs to be updated to support linkDomain instead of dynamicLinksDomain.
Starting to get pretty close to the deprecation date now (with summer vacations and release schedules etc) :P
Any chance of getting this pretty soon? Seems like the JS and Android version of official Firebase SDK supports using linkDomain now at least.

EDIT: or maybe we need to run the admin change command, and it will work magically?

I believe rnfb is ready for this, linkDomain support has been out for some time

Ah, yes, you're right, its got the linkDomain config option.
Still getting dynamic links in the email though, so I guess we need to run the firebase admin change command I mentioined.

Any updates on this? I keep getting dynamic links in the email as well :(
