Howdy,
We found your script useful for some plos.org sites and wanted to automate some movement between environments (requiring some re-naming), so I extended your script to provide a php CLI, which is executable with the included shebang.
It's a bit simplified (less interaction and fewer features), a little rough around the edges (the include() prints a bunch of junk) and has a few @todos, but I tested it and it works great for our purposes.
