As a follow-up to #879, it should be as easy as possible for an administrator to check the current state of entities and spot any missing external dependencies.
ldproxy already has support for health checks which can be observed on the operations port (http://localhost:7081/healthcheck?pretty=true). This would add health checks for all the dependencies and states identified in #879.
