Welcome to the Wiki for the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) focused Building EnVironment and Occupancy (BEVO) Beacon!

bevo_iaq

The BEVO IAQ is a 6"x6"x12" all-in-one, affordable indoor environment monitor. The device is powered and operated by a Raspberry Pi single-board computer that is tethered to combination of 9 sensors and components:

  • Total Volatile Organic Compound sensor
  • Carbon Dioxide sensor
  • Carbon Monoxide/Temperature/Relative Humidity sensor
  • Nitrogen Dioxide/Temperature/Relative Humidity sensor
  • Particulate Matter sensor
  • Light sensor
  • Real-Time Clock
  • OLED Display
  • Cooling Fan

The BEVO Beacon simply requires the user to plug in the device and, after booting up, begins to continuously monitor the indoor environment with a 1-minute resolution on all sensors. Measurements are displayed on the OLED screen and stored locally in daily CSV files with the option to save data to the cloud.
