In sycl/doc/EnvironmentVariables.md:

the entry SYCL_RT_WARNING_LEVEL mentions The values greater than 1 are reserved for future use but later in the document we have In order for the full error message to be printed, SYCL_RT_WARNING_LEVEL=2 must be set.
