There seems to be some wonkiness with VPC. Nate, you can take a look at the duval cluster in cisco-homebase. Its security groups don't appear to be populated correctly in VPC.

I'm in the middle of a rewrite of the security group population stuff, and I had independently come to the conclusion that the VPC security group code couldn't possibly work correctly.

Is it possible for me to get a pointer to this "cisco-homebase" of which you speak? It may help me figure out how to fix the underlying problem.

Sorry, no: that's client code, which shouldn't have been referenced in public.
