It's the way it is because historical reasons. You could easily turn this into an IApp and submit a PR. |

What's the point of the EtherTrafGen module? At first glance seems really useful to generate outbound ethernet traffic, but (at least within a TsnDevice) you can't set it as an app nor as the source module of a EthernetSourceApp. What would be the correct way to use it?
