Listings Guide

Creating a new Listing:

1. Click on Listings
2. Click on Add New
3. Fill out everything you can about the specific listing
4. On the left side of the Add New Listing there are some taxonomies (groups) that can help people find what they are specifically looking for
5. Features are to help specify a difference between all the other Listings with the one you are looking at.
6. Click on Publish once it is done and then you have your listing

(If search bar in your website already) Seeing your listing:

1. Just type in the listing there and you will see it.

(If no search bar in your website) Seeing your listing:

1. Create a search bar if there is no search bar there.
2. Then you can just search for your listing there that way.

(If the property type that you are looking for is not listed for the listing) Adding specific property type:

1. Go to property types
2. On the left side create the name the slug that you want
3. You can specify the parent category (if you already made the parent category before this one)
4. Add a description of what the name means or something like that
5. You can add an image if you want for the specific property type
6. Add new property type will add it to the list on the left side

(If the status type that you are looking for is not listed for the status) Adding specific status type:

1. Go to status types
2. On the left side create the name the slug that you want
3. You can specify the parent category (if you already made the parent category before this one)
4. Add a description of what the name means or something like that
5. You can add an image if you want for the specific status type
6. Add new status type will add it to the list on the left side

(If the location type that you are looking for is not listed for the status) Adding specific location type:

1. Go to location types
2. On the left side create the name the slug that you want
3. You can specify the parent category (if you already made the parent category before this one)
4. Add a description of what the name means or something like that
5. You can add an image if you want for the specific location type
6. Add new location type will add it to the list on the left side

(If the feature type that you are looking for is not listed for the status) Adding specific feature type:

1. Go to feature types
2. On the left side create the name the slug that you want
3. Add a description of what the name means or something like that
4. You can add an image if you want for the specific feature type
5. Add new feature type will add it to the list on the left side

To use your IDX Broker API Key:

1. Go to Settings
2. Then to WPL PRO
3. In the first textbox you place the API Key that you are given from IDX Broker
4. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Save Settings (DO NOT CLICK ON SYNC NOW IT WILL DELETE YOUR KEY! SAVE SETTINGS FIRST!)
5. Then click on Sync now
6. If you have any listings from IDX Broker go to IDX Broker Import and choose which ones you want to import
7. Then click on import listings
8. You can then go over to the listing sections and see your listings there

Register Taxonomies:

1. Create a specific ID that is related to what the taxonomy is grouping together
2. Create a Plural Name the plural name is just a name that people can see that there is more than one of the specific taxonomy (group)
3. Create a Singular Name the singular name is just a name that people can see that there is only one of that specific taxonomy (group)
