🚀 What I Actually Do

  • Write backend code in PHP/Laravel & Javascript
  • Break monoliths into services (but only when it makes sense, I promise)
  • Obsess over DX, clean architecture & “why the hell is this slow?”
  • Argue passionately about naming things
  • Fix problems nobody asked me to fix (my superpower)

Backend: PHP, Laravel, nodejs, python notebooks Data: PostgreSQL, Elastic, ClickHouse, Redis
Frontend-ish: Vue, a touch of JS when absolutely necessary
Tools I forget to close: Cursor, PhpStorm, Obsidian, Slack, Claude, OffRadio

🎯 Currently Into

  • Small weekend projects that accidentally become full systems
  • Writing fewer comments and more readable code
  • Making systems observable enough that future-me won’t hate past-me
  • Teaching teams that “simple” is a feature, not a downgrade
  • Trying not to refactor the universe

👨‍👧 Outside Tech

  • Dad mode: enabled
  • Board games: HeroQuest addict
  • Fitness level: chasing my kid around the house
