Release 1.13 is Available

A significant new version of the Python AI Toolkit for IBM z/OS is now available. There are several key changes included in this new release:

• Support for Python version 3.13
• Removal of support for Python 3.10. This is consistent with the support provided by the IBM Open Enterprise SDK for Python, which provides the Python language interpreter, compiler, and standard library used by the Toolkit.
• A change in version numbering to better align with Python versions. Please see this discussion post for more details.

In addition, the release include a new package, py-zcrypto provides a Python interface to access RACF keyrings and key databases on z/OS. More information can be found here.

All of these package updates can be installed or downloaded using the requirements.txt file appropriate for your Python version in the requirements folder of this repository. The web site has not yet been updated with information about these versions, but we will do so soon and announce here when it's ready.
