Pre-submission checklist

  • I am submitting a bug report, not a feature request.
  • I have searched for similar issues, but did not find any matches.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable the options mentioned in the title
  2. Tap a habit's state for the day twice to try and set it to Skip
  3. Where before 1470dcd the habit would remain on screen for enough time to consistently tap it twice, it now disappears instantly and I often hit another habit instead.

The same applies for triple taps to set the habit to not done.

This means I basically have to dip into disabling "Hide entered" before skipping or "not doing" a habit.

Proposed solution

1470dcd could be reverted, or its behavior made conditional on neither Skip Days nor question marks for missing data being active.

Oh, I just realized this is extremely closely tied to #1550 :(

Well, iSoron was right - there were good reasons for that delay being there!

As a workaround for now: instead of cycling through the option, you can:

  • uncheck "toggle with short press" in the settings
  • do a short press when you want to either skip or put a question mark back, and it should open a small pop-up where you can choose the corresponding option

Longer-term we should find a way to make these two settings ("toggle with short press" and "hide entered"/"hide completed") compatible. I'm not sure what the best option is though.
