How to integrate with other open source software using git?

Hi! Thanks for this great project!

Background:

1. I am gathering many personal performance data and use scripts to automatically calculate my performance and produce automated written reports in my vim wiki.
2. I find it hard to remember to check all the boxes on my laptop, therefore having a phone app is preferable. I was looking for an open source she solution.
3. I admire your approach for data privacy
4. I would like to however have my data on my laptop automatically updated every week at least (preferably once daily).

Question:
Is there a way to sync the data with a personal server on a remote (GH or gitlab) so that I can sync across devices?

This would allow me to script git pull on my laptop and calculate performance weekly. And I would be able to skip checkboxes in my vimwiki!!

Looking forward to your ideas, if this could be done on an Android device with uhabits. I think there are projects that use git as a syncing service from Android phones.
