I'm getting "UPnP is not enabled" even though it is #84
Comments
I tried updating Java to the latest version (8.0 Update 421) but it had no effect on the problem. I also tried opening the TCP and UDP port in Windows firewall but it had no effect on the problem. (I'm unable to configure the physical router.)

ACK, I'll look into this problem before the 2.7.0 release if possible. Thank you for the report. |
@eyedeekay - ditto on macos 10.14.6 but everything works afaict: most recent uptime = 11 days - used 629GB / 602GB |
I am actually closing in on the blizzard thing already it will come with some docs updates this week. No new issue required there. Thanks for the heads up about other platforms experiencing upnp issues. |
Thanks for the report. There are some cases where UPnP is enabled but fails to start, but it isn't logged and the UI says "is not enabled". So it's a logging/UI issue only. It is getting enabled, it just wasn't successful. We can try to track it down but it's unlikely to happen for this release. |
If you could post a link to the update I'd much appreciate it \0/ |
On
http://127.0.0.1:7657/confignet
, I have "Enable UPnP to open firewall ports" selected.On
http://127.0.0.1:7657/peers?tx=upnp
, it says "UPnP is not enabled".I'm using the latest I2P version 2.6.1-0, running on Windows 7.
I have tried unselecting it, restarting I2P, selecting it, then restarting I2P again. It didn't affect the issue.
