Abstract

Taking inspiration from #1782, to unify the Navigation API

Roadmap

• Support setting custom navigation links in the YAML configuration  #1790
• HydePHP v2.x Development #1565 (comment)
• Support extra attributes for navigation items
• Consider merging the sidebar configuration location (wontfix at this time)
  • Tracked in Consider merging the sidebar configuration location to be alongside the main menu navigation #1835
  • (see example in [2.x] Add a navigation config builder class #1827)

Changes

• Breaking: The custom navigation item config now uses array inputs 7188b38
• Breaking: Renames the hyde.navigation.subdirectories option to hyde.navigation.subdirectory_display c06a475
• Feature: We now support setting custom navigation items in the YAML configuration! Fixes #1790
