In further reading section (or somewhere in learnosm.org), we could add references of real books or quality articles about OSM, mapping, GPS, GIS…

Few examples (unfortunately without the covers):

  • Bennett, Jonathan. OpenStreetMap. Packt Publishing Ltd, 2010.
  • _Correia, Pau_l. Mon GPS en action !: Créer et enrichir ses cartes avec Google Earth, Google Maps, OpenStreetMap,... Editions Eyrolles, 2011.
  • _Haklay, Mordecha_i. “How Good Is Volunteered Geographical Information? A Comparative Study of OpenStreetMap and Ordnance Survey Datasets.” Environment and Planning B: Planning and Design 37, no. 4 (2010): 682–703. doi:10.1068/b35097.
  • Haklay, M., and P. Weber. “OpenStreetMap: User-Generated Street Maps.” IEEE Pervasive Computing 7, no. 4 (October 2008): 12–18. doi:10.1109/MPRV.2008.80.
  • Jakob, Alfredo. OpenStreetMap Daten - Ein Instrument zur partizipativen Planung in Entwicklungsländern?. GRIN Verlag, 2010.
  • Ramm, Frederik, and Jochen Topf. OpenStreetMap: Using and Enhancing the Free Map of the World. UIT Cambridge, 2011.
