The problem

I bought an earlier version of this light from AliExpress and have been controlling it using the App Happy Lighting.
This works well but I would like to control it from Home Assistant now.
According to https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/led_ble/ my device "Happy Lighting" (also shows up as Triones in the app) should work.
I set up a Bluetooth adapter but Homeassitant is unable to discover the device manually or automatically.

What version of Home Assistant Core has the issue?

2023.11.0 until 2024.8.2

What was the last working version of Home Assistant Core?

No response

What type of installation are you running?

Home Assistant OS

Integration causing the issue

No response

Diagnostics information

Unable to provide any diagnostics as I'm unable to add the integration because the device discovery does not return any devices.

Anything in the logs that might be useful for us?

No response

Additional information

I tried in multiple rooms (including even a different house) with different distances from my Bluetooth adapter.
The adapter works for other devices - but not for the LED.

Just had something interesting happening to me. The LED was briefly autodiscovered but I was unable to add it as a device. Any updates on this?
