Open main window on the focused window’s screen instead of the mouse cursor screen

Hi,

When I trigger CopyQ to open the main window, it currently appears on the screen where the mouse cursor is located. I would prefer it to open on the screen of the currently focused/active window instead (Windows 11).

In a multi-monitor setup, the mouse cursor and the focused window are often on different displays, so the current behavior can feel inconsistent.

Is there already a setting, command, or script hook for this? If not, would this be a good feature request?

Did you try disabling "Open windows on current screen" option (in General config tab)? The main window should then stay on the screen where you last left it.

I would prefer it to open on the screen of the currently focused/active window instead.
And IMHO that's what "Open windows on current screen" option should mean, not what it means right now which is "Open windows on screen where mouse cursor is".

Use case:

• User reads document on the screen A;
• User uses mouse cursor to copy specific text from the document on screen A;
• User presses keyboard shortcut that opens ChatGPT on the screen B;
• User invokes CopyQ through keyboard shortcut to paste something in ChatGPT on screen B;

Wanted result:

• User sees CopyQ naturally pop up in the expected remembered location for screen B right next to ChatGPT window or whatever position is remembered for that screen;

Actual result:

• User has to loose visual focus to the context of current screen B and look on the other screen A where CopyQ has opened because cursor is still there after copying document text.
