SplitViewController is a re-implementation of UISplitViewController. The current implementation lacks the UISplitViewController feature where, in Portrait orientation, the user can swipe from left to right to call up the left pane that is hidden.

Lowered prio because in the unified UI layout there is currently no longer a left pane in Portrait orientation. Not closing the issue yet because it may become important again if more screen space is needed for future features.
