Some nice work you did here, I like the ideas you put into this!

I don't know if the toml format is known to you, but it may be worth comparing to it in your table. Maybe deep nesting or "high-order composition" will be harder in toml, but it is a very convenient format that is gaining a lot of interest.
It's just a suggestion and I'm no expert here, but it may be worth making sure your format is not trying to fill a gap that's already filled.
