If I were to believe some old computations I made, it could save almost 100M to gzip them. Maybe xz'ing them could save even further memory.

What is the size of the image btw?

The latest ISO from yesterday is 974MB…

Just a tiny little bit! The first one was around 500MB, which is reasonable.

Sure, the size of the image needs to go down.
